On September 2012 I began the series “Second Vatican Council Conversations” on the official documents from the Council and their applications. While working on those series, I realized the need to emphasize the Council message of hope and encouragement. Some months later I began to publish this Blog.
My goal is to share the insights I have developed over the last more than forty-five years, or so, with those of you who are interested, but have no formal background in philosophy and theology, or who have had neither the time nor opportunity to study and reflect on this subject. We will explore the documents and their applications to reveal their meaning for all of us.
I want to make it clear my intention in writing this is to provoke your critical thought and analysis which the subject deserves. I have gone beyond mere literal or historical description to interpret events and documents as I see them. I invite you pause and critically reflect on the documents and historical facts and their consequences for we, the People of God.
Each article I’ll present, usually will be added to an existing part. I’ll aware to all registered persons about each new article. Sometimes I’ll present more than one.

Our first step in the Conversation will be a brief description of the times preceding the Second Vatican Council. From there, we will venture into more specialized areas which I will make more accessible: the Second Vatican Council documents.
Shall we begin?
